Tuxedos Tuxedos were originally made from plain black light weight woolen fabrics, but now a days they have also started appearing in fabrics which have a subtle pattern on them. They are ventless, have silk facings, never with turnups and look better with a shawl collar. A cummerbund with a matching bow tie is a must. The shirt should have a wing collar, pleated front, French cuffs and Studs which act as the diamond in the crown.
